Thread Safety

Public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are safe for multithreaded operations. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.

Remarks

Open the file once for writing and hold it open until CloseFile is called. Maintains an exclusive lock on the file during this time.
