Thread Safety

Public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are safe for multithreaded operations. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.

Remarks

Class implements a collection of properties that is specific to each thread. The class is not synchronized as each thread has its own PropertiesDictionary.

This class stores its properties in a slot on the CallContext named log4net.Util.LogicalThreadContextProperties.

The CallContext requires a link time SecurityPermission for the Infrastructure. If the calling code does not have this permission then this context will be disabled. It will not store any property values set on it.
